Welcome!

Hi! Welcome to my neocities, and I will be posting my projects over here and they can all be found at the sidebar. My homepage is more akin to a blog so you may see some silly things here and just my general rambles.

You can find me on tumblr, twitter, instagram, and cara under the same name. I also have a Gaia Online account and you can message me through one of the accounts mentioned earlier if you would like to play zOMG with me.

Rainy days

The rainy season has started, so I'll be holed up in my room. I have so many doll projects that I don't know where to start with them. I wish that at least one of my dolls were alive so they could help me out a bit for the projects. Moral support is great and all, but I would like an extra set of hands.

So what am I working on? My first collection of short stories is almost done, with just one story needing to be finished and another needs ot be edited. After completing the writing part, I'll need to design the cover and typeset the thing. The cover will be very simple and based off of my weird attempts at book binding in my youth. Which is, get two pieces of cardstock, strong fabric tape, stack the sheets, and tape it to one side to make a book. I would then use a typewriter to make the title. Bitter Constants is coming along, I should post some drawings and other stuff in the tabs.

Doll Meetup

Went to a local doll meet up. Pretty cool. Public transit here is pretty great and it feels a lot safer than from my hometown region's. There were some issues with the power that day to due storms so my train was delayed and they were operating on a one track system.

October 13 2024

Went to a doll convention, and I got some stuff. Most conventions will require at least an hour and half of driving in one direction, but it's to be expected since I live at one of those quaint small towns where you need to drive for more than ten minutes to reach any grocery store. It's quiet here at least. The convention mostly had tables for antiques, Barbies, and the expected, but the stores for this one are actually more varied along with one or two tables that primarily had BJDs. Despite all of the cool dolls, I ended up coming out with only a few doll clothes and mostly MLP ponies. What can I say, the tables here didn't have scalper prices for them. Most tables here were very well priced and some allow haggling or would cut you a deal if they liked you enough.

It was a small convention although I will be back for next year. There is one more doll convention near me for 2024 and I'll be making that one but I also need to attend a doll meet as well. At least they're really close. I hit 10k words on the Bitter Constants first draft. Hope to get out some more.
